Artist – James Lesjak-Atton

IN THE WILD, 2025

The exciting sculpture at the Courtyard entrance is inspired by natural forms and shapes found in native flora around the Camden area. The design reflects plant life forms and shapes, in particular the staghorn fern. The sculpture is a modular timber piece made up of individual timber carvings. Art protrusions come out of the balcony section with a futuristic gradient form on the wall below.

James Lesjak-atton says:

My art engages with the curious and intriguing forms of plant life, the seemingly impossible and beautiful shapes of nature. The work is a celebration of the way we engage with the natural world.
